Trump compares coronavirus to Pearl Harbor

US President Donald Trump does everything to control the coronavirus pandemic in his country. He holds regular live meetings and personally supervises the work of the pandemic office. The American leader openly talks about the threat of the coronavirus and warns the US citizens about its gravity and serious danger. “This is worse than Pearl Harbor, this is worse than the World Trade Center. There's never been an attack like this”, said the president, comparing the pandemic with the most terrible tragedies in US history such as the bombing of Pearl Harbor in World War II and the 9/11 attacks when the World Trade Center was destroyed. In his speech, Donald Trump has again blamed China for covering up the initial information on the virus. According to Trump, many countries, including the US, had no time to prepare for the outbreak. In his tweets, Donald Trump admitted that the US was not ready for the pandemic due to a critical shortage of lung ventilation machines, respirator masks, and gloves. Recently, the president has assured the nation that the country produces enough ventilators, sterile robes, masks, gloves and other medical supplies needed to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
