French authorities investigate Airbus over alleged fraud
French authorities have opened a preliminary investigation against Airbus over alleged fraud, bribery, and corruption, the plane maker on Thursday announced, expanding a UK corruption probe.
Airbus has been informed by French financial authority Parquet National Financier that it had coordinated with UK's Serious Fraud Office to investigate on the matter.
The Toulouse, France-based company said it will fully cooperate with both authorities.
