The research, conducted by The Organization of Foreign Investments, shows that most of amounts are came to USA from the United Kingdom. In 2015 the amount of direct investments from UK to USA came up to $449 billion.

The overall volume of foreign investments in different sectors of American economy accounted to $3,1 trillion in 2015.

According to the investment volume the second place of the list is taken by Japan. Last year the country made USA rich for $373 billion.

The leading direction for investments is extractive industry. In 2013 the foreign investments in the industry came up to $8 billion, in 2014 – $25 billion.

Netherlands takes the third place with the total volume of $305 billion.

The most popular for direct investments is manufacturing industry. In 2013 the foreigners invested in it $74 billion, in 2014 – $125 billion.

The fourth place is taken by Canada. The investment volume in USA from the neighboring state accounted to $261 billion in 2015.

The analysts bespeaks about growth trend of rivalry that leads to equity drawdown of the United States of America in total investment volume from abroad. During 15 years the equity of USA shortened to 22% in 2015 against 37% in 2000.

The fifth place according to the volume of investments goes to Luxemburg. The total amount of investments from the state achieved $243 billion in 2015.

Germany takes the sixth place. The investment volume from the country is up to $224 billion.

The seventh place is Switzerland's. In 2015 the government invested in the economy of USA about $224 billion.

France invested in USA a shade less than Germany and Switzerland – $223 billion.

The Virgin Islands takes the ninth place with the investment volume of $100 billion. It should be noted that the islands belong to Great Britain.

Belgium closes the list of the countries which invest in the economy of USA. In 2015 The investment volume of the country amounted to $100 billion.
