The cable bridge which has been recently constructed in China is 565 meters high. To compare, the Ostankino tower is lower than this bridge by 25 meters. The hanging bridge is a part of the road connecting Hangzhou and Ruili.

It took three years to build this record-breaker bridge. The length of the new construction hanging above the Ni-Zhū river is 1 341 meters.

According to official reports, the cable bridge costs $150 million.

Until recently, the Chinese Siduhe Bridge was the world's highest one. Its height is 496 meters and the length is 1 222 meters.

Last month, another record-holder bridge was set up in the preserved area of the Hunan province where the Avatar film was shot. This construction became the world's longest glass walking bridge with the length of 430 meters.

One of the most dangerous bridges is also located in China. Only the wildest tourists risk to walk along a narrow mountain trail carved in the rock at the 2 130m elevation. All travelers who dare to do it get insurance.

In Shanghai, a favorite place for tourists is the round pedestrian bridge. The structure attracts travelers with its unusual appearance.
