Stemming from the tense relationship between Turkey and Russia, the resorts of Turkey are going through the hard times, as earlier Russian tourists outnumbered all other holiday-makers.

Kemer is one of the most popular places loved by the Russians. In expectation of the tourists.

Since January until May the number of tourists from Russia was 21,000. However, this is lower by 26 times than last year.

Almost 400 souvenir shops are closed due to the lack of tourists.

According to the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the total number of tourists decreased by 28.1%.
