Pound Edges Down Against Euro And Franc

The British currency extended its previous session's downward trading against the euro and the Swiss franc in New York mid-day trading on Monday. At present, the sterling is trading near 0.7820 against the euro and 1.5366 versus the franc, which may be compared to last Friday's closing values of 0.7787 and 1.5432, respectively.
