Ireland Services Pmi up in June at 49.7, Still in Mild Contraction

  • Irish services PMI gained further momentum to advance into expansion if so called eur zone deal really works as a "game changer" for the economy
  • NCB PMI index improved from 48.9 to 49.7 just shy of decisive 50 mark
  • Overall new business in the services sector grew marginally, the 4th increase in 5 months, buoyed by exports, according to survey results
  • However, business expectations were at their lowest level since last December, in part due to subdued demand
