Pound Extends Slide Amid BoE Minutes, UK Jobless Claims Report

Bank of England's minutes of its June 6-7 monetary policy meeting and the U.K. jobless claims for the month of May have been released at 4:30 am ET and the pound continued to move in a descending track following the data. As of 4:32 am ET, the sterling was trading at 1.4853 against the Swiss franc, 123.75 against the yen, 1.5681 against the dollar and 0.8086 against the euro.
