Pound Jumps To More Than 2-week High Against Greenback

Extending its previous session's upward trading, the British currency edged up further against the US dollar during late New York deals on Friday. At 4:00 pm ET, the sterling climbed to more than a 2-week high of1.5901 versus the greenback, which may be compared to Thursday's closing value of 1.5747. Presently, the pair is worth 1.5888.
