Greenback Plunges To More Than 2-month Low Versus Turkish Lira

The US currency extended its European session downtrend against the Turkish lira in New York trading on Friday. The dollar, which closed Thursday's New York session at 1.5125 versus the lira, plunged to 1.5046 at about 12:05 pm ET. This set a more than 2-month low for the US currency. Presently, the pair is worth 1.5074.
