US President Donald Trump seems to exploit effectively the eccentric image which he created during the presidential race. Policymakers, investors, and analysts hesitate to make forecasts as uncertainty of Trump’s policies overshadows their accuracy. Meanwhile, in his public speeches Trump skillfully evades details of stimulus measures, infrastructure spending, and a large-scale tax reform. Besides, Trump has earned the reputation of an unpredictable president. He easily withdraws from international agreements, disregards influential unions, reshuffles his cabinet, and still makes bald statements.

One of his election pledges was the largest tax overhaul since Reagan’s administration. Nevertheless, investors are disappointed that the new president has not provided clarity of the tax reform. Trump said that a Republican tax reform is nearly ready, but it will not come in force until the Obamacare program is replaced in full by the new healthcare legislation. Now Republicans admit it is not easy to fund a new healthcare law.

"Before we do the tax — which is actually very well finalized — but we can't submit it until the health care statutorily or otherwise," Trump told reporters before a White House budget meeting. "So we're doing the health care — again moving along very well — sometime during the month of March, maybe mid-to-early March, we'll be submitting something that I think people will be very impressed by."

The US population is gradually getting irritated with lack of clarity. The new head of the White House has been targeted recently. Anti-Trump activists state “the new president should stop teasing people and businesses about low taxes in the future and implement real measures to ensure economic recovery”.
