China cuts fuel prices again

The government of China has reduced the fuel prices. Following the announcement of China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) on September 18, gasoline and diesel fuel in China fell by 155 yuan and 150 yuan per ton, respectively
The country’s top economic planner took the decision due to the changes in global crude oil prices. It is the fourth price cut since the beginning of the year.
The NDRC said it will closely monitor the impact of the current pricing mechanism for the raw materials market and, if necessary, will make amendments to it.Since January 2016, China has cut gasoline and fuel prices four times, while it has raised them six times and has left prices unchanged eight times.Overall, since the beginning of the year, gasoline and diesel prices went up by 315 yuan and by 305 yuan per ton, respectively.
