Asian stocks hit 10-year high

On Tuesday, the Asia-Pacific stock market rose to the highest level over the past 10 years.

According to Reuters, MSCI's index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan rose by 0.8%, marking the highest level since November 2007. The index accelerated after all the US three major indices finished at record levels on Monday.

Japan’s Nikkei 225 climbed by 1.7% to the highest in almost 26 years. The growth was due to an inflow of foreign investors to Japanese stocks.

China’s Shanghai Composite added 0.5%, while Hong Kong Hang Seng rose by 1.3%, touching the highest level in a decade. The Australian S&P/ASX 200 jumped by 1% to its highest since 2008. The South Korean KOSPI edged down by 0.2%.
