U.s. Crude Settles Higher, Posts Third Weekly Gain

  • U.S. crude futures settle higher, on profit-taking and on expectations that any release of strategic oil reserves would back out imports to US
  • U.S. September crude rose 41 cents to settle at $96.01 a barrel, the highest finish since May 11.
  • For the week it posted gain of $3.14, marking the third consecutive weekly rise.
