Euro Extends Uptrend Against Greenback And Pound

The European common currency extended its morning session uptrend against its US and British counterparts during New York afternoon deals on Friday. At 1:20 pm ET, the euro climbed to new multi-week highs of 1.2895 against the greenback and 0.8352 versus the pound, which may be compared to yesterday's closing values of 1.2826 and 0.8329, respectively. Currently, the euro is worth 0.8345 against the sterling and 1.2890 versus the buck.
