On Monday, French stocks slightly dipped, relinquishing early advances despite a boost in risk sentiment in the financial markets. Positive reactions from investors were stimulated by the lack of new retaliatory attacks from Israel or Iran, as well as the U.S's approval of a critical aid package for Ukraine.

However, although the fear of a more extensive conflict in the Middle East has lessened, the probability of the U.S. Federal Reserve maintaining unaltered interest rates throughout this year has kept the overall sentiment somewhat cautious.

Investor focus remains on the PCE inflation report and earnings from Tesla, Meta, Microsoft, and Google's parent company, Alphabet, in anticipation of the forthcoming FOMC meeting on May 1.

Meanwhile, the CAC 40, France's benchmark index, experienced a minor drop to 8,017, following minimal changes on Friday with a slight negative leaning.
