On Sunday, June 18, the world's leading Airbus airline introduced an updated version of the world's largest passenger aircraft A380 - A380 plus. The new aircraft was developed in the lead-up to the 52nd air show, taking place in Le Bourget (France).

The design of the new aircraft provides for the expansion of its wing. According to the developers, this solution is the most economical. The changes made by the developers in the design of the wings of the new aircraft help improve its aerodynamics and save up to 4% of the fuel.

The saloon of the new aircraft was completely changed. Thanks to this, it can accommodate up to 80 passengers additionally.

According to experts, the creation of A380 plus can cost the company 13% cheaper than the previous version. This factor also played an important role in the development of an updated aircraft.

Airbus A380, the old version of the popular aircraft, went on line in 2007. This two-deck aircraft with a wingspan of 80 meters and a fuselage length of 73 meters is recognized as the largest passenger airliner in the world.

The cost of the aircraft is $320 million. The aircraft is capable of making non-stop flights up to 15 thousand kilometers. Its capacity is 525 passengers by regular flights and up to 853 people by charter.
