Aston Martin's First Speedboat

The iconic luxury car company Aston Martin unveiled its first-ever speed boat

Aston Martin's First Speedboat

The novelty of the British car brand was unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show on September 29. It was designed by Aston Martin's EVP & Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman and his design team in partnership with naval architect Mulder Design and the Dutch company Quitessence Yachts. The name of the boat is quite succinct -AM37.

The power boat measures 37 feet - quite miniature. AM37 can go up to 90 km/hour. A spokesperson for the British car manufacturer said its boat will range from $1.6 million to $2.1 million, depending on what version you get.

Aston Martin turned its attention to the nautical sector due to reduced demand for expensive cars. Experts predict success to the company in its new role and, accordingly, a decent revenue from a new source.

The group will unveil a number of new cars over the next five years, and will start producing its first ever SUV – the DBX – in 2018.
