Australia Interest Rate Decision Due On Tuesday

The Reserve Bank of Australia is due to conclude its monetary policy meeting and subsequently announce its ruling on interest rates. This would be a noticeable point in the day's economic activities in the Asia-Pacific. It's generally anticipated that the bank will maintain its standard lending rate at 4.35 percent.

Data on retail sales for March is also expected to be out from Australia. Predictions indicate a decrease of 0.2 percent month-on-month following a rise of 0.3 percent in February.

Japan is set to reveal its Services PMI figures for April from Jibun Bank. Projections forecast a score of 54.6, which is a slight increase from the 54.1 score in March.

Thailand will release consumer price data for April. Previously, overall inflation in March was reported to be negative year-on-year at -0.47 percent, while the core CPI witnessed an annual increase of 0.37 percent.

Meanwhile, Taiwan is slated to disclose April's consumer price results. The overall inflation in March rose by 0.26 percent month-on-month and 2.14 percent year-on-year.
