FX.co ★ European Economic News Preview: Swiss Foreign Trade Data Due

The primary economic headlines on Thursday are Switzerland's foreign trade data and the euro area's current account information.

Switzerland's customs office is scheduled to announce its foreign trade statistics for March at 2:00 am ET. Simultaneously, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association is set to reveal the new car registrations data for March. This comes after the car sales saw a yearly rise of 10.1% in February.

Norway's industrial confidence survey results are also expected to be unveiled shortly after.

At 4:00 am ET, the European Central Bank (ECB) will be providing its February data for the Eurozone's current account. Experts are predicting that this data will show a surplus of €45.2 billion, a significant increase from January's €39.4 billion surplus.

Lastly, at 5:00 am ET, construction output numbers from the euro area will be released.
