The Scilla concept is the product of a joint effort between transportation design students at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Turin, together with Pininfarina and the editors of Quattroruote magazine. The model has all chances to become the car of the future.

The era of electric mobility has begun, and Volkswagen will be shaping it with the hippy-classic I.D. BUZZ concept. The car is provided with a pair of electric motors developing a combined output of 369 horsepower (275 kilowatts). With one electric motor at the front and the other installed at the back, the I.D. Buzz has an all-wheel-drive layout. Acceleration is very impressive as well, with the 0-60 mph (0-96 kph) taking approximately five seconds, while top speed is electronically capped at 99 mph (160 kph).

Renault has experienced success with the compact electric Zoe and look to boost its appeal with the e-Sport performance car. The new Zoe e-Sport is based on the same platform as the all-electric as used in the standard road car but its power is boosted by knowledge acquired by Groupe Renault's inclusion in the FIA Formula E Championship. The e-Sport is a two-seater concept car which produces 340kW of power from twin electric motors. This creates 460bhp and torque of 640Nm, helping it to accelerate from 0-62mph in 3.2 seconds.

Tata Motors officially announced its new sub-brand called TAMO. A unique design, combining a predatory grin, smooth curves and streamlined body have become a distinctive feature of the miniature mid-engine sports car Tamo Racemo. The production version of the sportscar will hit the domestic market by second half of 2018 and will likely be priced at around Rs. 25 lakh. Marcello Gandini, the Italian designer who's responsible for Lamborghini Countach, was reported to have overseen the chassis construction.

Another popular model, which seeks to revolutionise the relationship between private transport, user experience and safety, is Segula's Hagora Pulse, an ultra-connected concept car with an innovative design. As well as its pedestrian detection modality, engineers have incorporated a number of features to improve both overall user-experience and general well being. This includes E-sense, which monitors the medical health of the vehicle's occupants, the Car2Car field, which enables the constant transmission of information between vehicles, and the incorporation of gesture commands combined with augmented reality to promote driver experience and safety.

Aston Martin also revealed the new hypercar Valkyrie. The hypercar was previously known as the AM-RB 001 and is being produced as a collaboration between Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing. The hypercar which comes with a 3 million euro price tag is equipped with a new high-revving naturally aspirated V12 engine which goes from 0-62mph in under 3.0 seconds.

The new Swedish Koenigsegg Regera is specifically predented to be a luxury hypercar with an eye-catching metallic cold glitter and fantastic design. The Koenigsegg Regera combines a powerful twin-turbo V8 combustion engine with three electric motors and cutting edge battery power via new powertrain technology called Koenigsegg Direct Drive. This revolutionary technology removes the traditional gearbox, making the car lighter and more efficient. It is not a surprise that 80 cars have already been sold.

The Supercar Sin Cars R1 550 from the UK successfully debuted at the Geneva Motor Show. Most car enthusiasts couldn't ignore this car, equipped with 550 HP and a six-speed manual transmission.
